Like many of you, my family is the foundation of my life. Making sure all our children grow up in a safe, secure and fair world, with equal opportunities, is a mission for me. It is what we owe to the next generation.
Beyond my law practice and community involvement, raising three daughters is the most important part of my life. It’s amazing to watch my daughters grow up in the same town and attend the same public schools as their parents. It is even more interesting to watch their mother teach them 7th grade math. I may never have mastered how to French braid hair, but I am the definition of a girl dad.
Supporting and mentoring young students, including my own girls, has been a passion for me. I serve as a director of the Wood Dale Foundation for Educational Excellence. With the help of many, the Foundation has raised tens of thousands of dollars for teachers and students of Wood Dale Dist. 7 for classroom needs and student support.
I coached girls’ basketball in the community for eight years. Some of the girls I coached have now graduated from college and are beginning their professional careers. I am proud to support their achievements.
